Ultimate draping mega-course scholarship program gives an exclusive chance to learn draping in depth as a techniques, as a creative method of sculpturing and most importantly as an effective alternative to flat pattern-making.

 

Scholarship funds are allocated by EWST fashionlab in order to facilitate an access to its unique learning materials for those students who have obtained certain merit whether in academic or practical field and intend to master skills and communicate their achievements.

Scholarship requirements:

 

• Dedication to study, commitment to produce the body of work within a given time-frame, and willingness to document and submit all assignments.

• Upon an enrollment, student is required to submit portfolio (visual materials proving her current design work in progress - photos, images, drawings etc).

• Basic sewing skills are required, some pattern making skills are advantageous.

• The applicant must be able to communicate ( speaking, writing, listening) in English.

 

Application is rather straightforward - fill up and submit the application form, and email the samples of your work/portfolio.

Scholarship agreement will be generated and signed by two parties:

Scholarship provider - EWST fashionlab represented by its founder, courses creator Elena Ryleeva

Scholarship receiver: student name

 

Ultimate draping online course consists of:

Complete 3' level Couture draping: Basic,Intermediate, Advanced 

Investigative draping full

Corset draping & design/redesign

Draping a garment with shawl collar

 

Newly added bonus course:

Sculptured rococo dress

 

Full tutor support and feedback is included (unique opportunity to learn directly from the master). The tutor communicates with each student personally not in group so the privacy of communication is guaranteed.

 

You will receive about 62 hours of recorded video-lessons in total.

There are 29 modules in the whole course, some with sub-projects so it comes with more than 32 assignments. For each one you will receive a feedback| evaluation | advise, anything needed.

Elena answers and feedback are always detailed and precise. You can submit your question at any time and be sure to get your query fully answered (within approx 24 hour).

 

Duration of scholarship:

 

Ultimate draping course - 3 years

Note you may complete this course in one year or even less if you have enough spare time for the studies. 3 years is a maximum. However there is still an option for 3 months extension free of charge. For the further extension additional fee is applicable.

Scholarship admission

 

Once you are admitted into the scholarship program you will pay the tuition fee in full or you pay your first installment (depends on your particular case) within 5 days to secure your spot in scholarship program.

 

The access to the course video-lessons will be given to you step by step upon each

module completion and assignment submission. Once you send the images of your work to Elena the next module will be opened to you with no interruptions.

Please be aware of your course duration. Throughout this period you will need to submit 30 assignments. For that reason we do recommend to schedule your time with utmost precision. 

​

Upon the course completion the student will be awarded with certificate and attached transcript. Based on the gained knowledge the student will produce a comprehensive competitive portfolio with a tutor help.
