Bolero Jacket draping
Fashion Draping Intermediate
Intermediate draping: Bodices Peg & Flared skirts Cowl skirts Bolero jacket Side pleat skirt Portrait collar
In this project you will learn the method of draping a short bolero jacket with shawl collar on a dress form. The shawl collar is cut in one with the front detail, so collar’ draping steps are incorporated in draping the front. Out of many existing varieties of shawl collar this type of the shawl collar that you learn starts at the breaking point on double breasted closure at the front and it is high at the back. Once you complete the draping you will learn the drafting of a fitted sleeve with elbow dart on the base of patterns that you have achieved.
